Medical & Fit-to-Work Certificates Online – Ireland

An IMC-registered GP in Ireland can see you by phone or video. A certificate is issued only when it is clinically appropriate. You see the fee before you pay, from €35.99.

Need a sick cert for your employer? Book the same way. A GP decides if a certificate is clinically appropriate.

How a certificate visit works

Book Occupational Health, then choose phone or video. Pay the fee shown for that slot. An IMC-registered GP in Ireland speaks with you and may issue a medical or fit-to-work certificate only when it is clinically appropriate. Paying for the visit does not buy the document. Book Occupational Health opens the form on that visit. How it works explains the phone and video steps.

Certificate types

This page is for a fit-to-work certificate, a workplace or occupational certificate, and a work or college certificate when a remote visit is suitable. Bring the wording HR or the college asked for. The GP writes what matches the assessment. A longer explanation sits in occupational health and fit-for-work notes. If you need time off rather than a return-to-work line, read sick cert online in Ireland.

Not a DSP Illness Benefit certificate

This is not a DSP Illness Benefit certificate. The Department of Social Protection may still ask your registered GP for that form. Tell the doctor if a named sheet is required. Some employers also want their own occupational team. Keep your registered GP for ongoing care.

Fees

Weekday Occupational Health is from €35.99, during 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Ireland time. Evenings are from €40.00 (6:00 PM to 8:00 PM). Weekends are from €40.00 (8:00 AM to 8:00 PM). The booking screen shows the live amount before you pay. Nothing on this page replaces that figure.

For urgent or life-threatening symptoms, call 112 or 999, or go to the nearest emergency department. Questions can go to Contact by WhatsApp or email. Blogs has the sick-cert and occupational guides. Home and Our Services describe the wider GP visit if a certificate is not what you need.
