Health tips from Ireland's online GP
Short, practical articles on bookings, treatment, sick notes, and everyday GP questions. Tap a topic to jump in.
These guides are for patients in Ireland. They cover how to book an online consultation, sick notes, everyday symptoms, and how to get the most from a BookMyDoc visit. The guides are general information. They are not a personal medical opinion.
Each article is written for people who might book a phone or video GP. You will see when a symptom can wait for a planned visit, and when you should call 112 or 999 or go to an emergency department instead. Keep your registered GP for ongoing care.
If you already know you want a slot, skip ahead to Book an Appointment. Our Services explains online consultations, occupational health, weight-loss and hair-loss reviews, and follow-up visits. How It Works is the four-step booking path. Pricing is the fee guide: weekdays from €35.99, evenings from €40.00, weekends from €40.00. The exact fee is shown before you pay.
IMC-registered doctors provide the consultations. If you need follow-up care, your GP will advise you on next steps. We do not sell or ship medications online. Certificates and sick notes are issued only when the GP decides they fit.
Browse the articles below, then come back to Home or Contact Us if you still have a question about a booking. WhatsApp +353 899805438. Email bookmydoc.ie@gmail.com. The clinic is in Lucan, Co. Dublin, and you can book from anywhere in Ireland.
New articles are added on the same blog, so this page is the list crawlers and patients should use. Open an article for the full guide. Use the links above if you would rather book, check a fee, or read how the visit works before you start.
